NI Apprenticeship Week 2022
Monday 7th February 2022 saw the launch of the third annual Northern Ireland
Apprenticeship Week. The week-long promotional event, headed up by the Department for
the Economy, aims to promote the crucial role played by apprenticeships across Northern
Ireland.
We are participating in CITBNI’s ‘Build Your Career’ Event at W5 in the Odyssey to promote our construction apprenticeships. Chief People Officer Stephanie Gowdy and our now fully qualified, former apprentice joiner Gerard McShane will be in attendance to talk to local students about apprenticeship opportunities with Pure Fitout. We have had countless apprentices join our team from further education colleges, training providers and schools who have completed apprenticeships in joinery, metalwork, engineering and more.
We’re currently looking for our next intake of apprentices to join us in September, so if you or someone you know might be interested in joining Pure Fitout and working on exciting projects throughout Europe, keep an eye on our social media channels or drop an email to joinus@purefitout.com.

Anthony Lynn - Engineering Apprentice
I joined Pure Fitout after doing a welding and fabrication course at SERC in Lisburn. One of my friends already worked here and said it was challenging but he absolutely loved it! I made the move and am now a Level 3 Engineering Apprentice working in the metal division. I'll be fully qualified in June this year and I've really enjoyed my time here so far.
It is hard work at times but it's a very fulfilling job and seeing finished pieces you've made from scratch head out to a client is really rewarding. I'd tell anyone thinking about an apprenticeship in construction to come and join Pure Fitout because you won't regret it!
