Pure Fitout were engaged by The Maybourne Hotel Group to complete a number of joinery and interior fitout works at their newest property on the French Riviera.

The spectacular Maybourne Riviera, situated on a cliff edge above Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on the stunning Cote d’Azur is the second under The Maybourne brand alongside its namesake in Beverly Hills, California. The luxury hotelier also operate three other exclusive, 5 star locations in London - Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley.

The Maybourne Riviera is simply an architectural marvel. Designed by veteran French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, its transformation from the abandoned shell left behind by the The Vista Palace has redefined the whole area. Its white criss-cross lines and floor to ceiling glass is visible from the beach below while its twinkling lights illuminate the cliffside after dark.

From the wraparound roof terrace, guests are treated with breathtaking, birds eye views of Monaco, Italy and the golden beaches of the French Riviera below all surrounded by the glimmering turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

Pure Fitout’s project brief consisted of completing the interior fitout of:

• 2 Restaurants - ‘La Piscine’ by Jean George and pool bar
• Andre Fu designed spa
• 8 duplex guest rooms each with an individual pool
• 15 Andre Fu designed guest rooms

The guest rooms were split in to three types and designed by two of the biggest names in interior design. The Corniche Room and Corniche Junior Suite with their own private pools were created by Hong Kong based Andre Fu while The Grand Duplex Suite was the vision of Bryan O’Sullivan who has studios in London and New York.
