We are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2019 with a look at our Pure Fitout apprentices and what they do within our organisation. National Apprenticeship Week brings the apprenticeship community together to celebrate the impact the have on individuals, employers and the economy.
We train and develop young people into the shopfitters of the future. The investment in the next generation of shopfitters translates to Pure Fitout actively supporting young people in all construction-led apprenticeships, from joinery to steel fabrication.

Age: 18
Apprenticeship: Estimating and Quantity Surveying
“My apprenticeship with Pure Fitout has helped me gain a wider insight into the work that goes into quantity surveying and estimating. Whilst putting into practice what I have learned in the classroom, under the guidance of a team of Estimators and Quantity Surveyors I have developed new skills and understanding in a working and professional environment. It has given me a wider knowledge of the job and all that is required from receiving the first tender documents to handing over the keys to the client, while also helping me gain experience that can’t be taught in a classroom.”

“Throughout my apprenticeship with Pure Fitout I have learned many new skills, including; working off drawing plans, operating heavy machinery, I was even put through my forklift operator test. Pure Fitout is a great place to work and learn, I am very grateful to be given the opportunity to get my Joinery qualifications with this company. All the staff from the office and the workshops are friendly and welcoming. I hope to work and continue to learn here for many years.”

We work in conjunction with Craft Training NI who provide individual in Northern Ireland with the tools required to get a job and get ahead in their career. Craft are one of the largest providers for construction qualifications throughout Ireland.
We caught up with Gary the Business Development Manager at Craft who said “It is a pleasure and a privilege to be partnering with Pure Fitout on delivery apprenticeships. We have worked together in providing apprenticeships for 16-24 year olds.
It’s fantastic to see a company that has the vision to create career pathways for aspiring apprentices. Pure Fitout recognize that creating this pipeline of talent is crucial to the growth of their business. We look forward to increasing our work with them in the near future!”
