Pure Fitout collaborated with Diageo to deliver a series of bespoke joinery pieces for DÍON at Central Plaza, Dublin’s new - and already iconic - rooftop restaurant and bar located atop the former Central Bank building.
The scope of works included The Grand Bar, a collection of drinks cabinets, and multiple display and feature pieces, all created specifically for Diageo’s Roe & Co whiskey brand. Each element was designed to sit comfortably within DÍON’s interior while maintaining a clear and consistent brand presence throughout the space.

Working from a comprehensive design pack from the talented team at Catapult, Pure Fitout’s CAD team developed detailed shop drawings that guided the project from early coordination through to manufacture. Collaboration was central to the process, with ongoing input from the teams at DÍON, Diageo and Catapult.
Working closely with Laura Doherty of DÍON, and Roisin Field, Head of Marketing at Diageo, the project progressed from design pack through CAD and into manufacture, maintaining clarity and consistency across design intent, brand requirements and final execution.

Roe & Co logos cut from steel and finished with walnut veneer
Manufactured in-house at Pure Fitout’s Belfast workshop, the pieces are constructed from solid walnut and incorporate recessed LED lighting, sandblasted glass, and back-lit features to add depth and definition across the bar and display areas.
Particular attention was given to branding details, with the Roe & Co logos cut from steel and finished with walnut veneer, ensuring even the most intricate elements achieved a refined and consistent finish.
Each component was produced as a one-off, bespoke piece, designed specifically for the space and its operational requirements.
The completed joinery reflects a close collaboration between Pure Fitout, Diageo, and DÍON, combining craftsmanship, precision, and material quality to deliver functional, considered pieces within a busy and luxurious hospitality venue.
